Would you like to be entertained by the Queen herself? Now you can find out!
Visit Buckingham Palace this summer, and for the first time ever, you can experience the spectacle of the Ballroom set up for a State Banquet.
See the Grand Service at Buckingham Palace This summer, the traditional horseshoe-shaped State Banquet table (adjusted in size to accommodate the visitors) is being set with dazzling silver-gilt from the Grand Service and adorned with magnificent flower arrangements. Please do not bring home any souveniers from the Queens table.


You will find lavish displays of tureens, dishes, ornamental cups and fine English and Continental porcelain will flank the table.


Held in honour of visiting Heads of State, the State Banquet is the occasion when The Queen entertains around 170 guests on the first evening of a State Visit. You and your family can be the 170+ guests.
During Her Majesty’s reign, 77 State Banquets have been held at Buckingham Palace, 18 at Windsor Castle and 2 at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh.
There's more to be seen than just the Ballroom. You can see more lavishly furnished rooms with some of the greatest treasures from the Royal Collection:
You will find paintings by Rembrandt, Rubens, Vermeer, Poussin, Canaletto and Claude. Look out for sculptures by Canova and Chantrey,Sèvres porcelainas well as the finest English and French furniture from the world over. You will experience the riches of the world.
